Interview: Venezuelan Oil Crisis: What can be done?
I spoke to PressTV on Venezuela’s oil shortage on April 20, 2020 from Minsk, Belarus. One month later, despite all odds, the Islamic Republic of Iran in an exceptionally courageous act dispatched four tankers to Venezuela that arrived successfully, defeating the illegal US blockade of Venezuela.
On April 20, 2020, I was interviewed by PressTV on Venezuela’s burning oil crisis, lack of refineries and blockade imposed by the United States against international law. Little did I know that by May 24, 2020 the first Iranian tanker would arrive at Venezuelan shores, rescuing the country. By May 30, 2020, the fourth tanker arrived. Iran had displayed incredible courage in defying the illegal US embargo and it taking a vast risk to help its sister nation in need. In the interview below, I explain the current Venezuelan oil plight.
